What we do

We want the Straits to be the place where the UK and continental Europe meet and thrive. We work with each other and partner with any stakeholders interested in delivering this vision.

Any stakeholder can approach the Committee at any time with issues where they believe we can add value and we will see what we can do to help. We also have grants available for small cross-border projects.

Our Executive Committee of elected officials from our member authorities meets up to four times a year, supported by our officer team who work together throughout the year. Other stakeholders, including other levels of government, regularly get involved in our work.
